COMMONSPACE

ANYTHING BUT COMMON

“What if there was a place the young adults of San Diego could come together with no agenda other than community?” This was the question we asked ourselves when we created Common Space; a gathering for the dreamers, creatives, and doers. Over the next year, we brought over five hundred young adults in the greater Southern California area.

POLAROID PEOPLE

The night of our first event, we decided to handout disposable cameras to certain attendees. We wanted them to capture their experience. We wanted to see life through their eyes. Little did we know then, this would launch the creative branding further than we expected.

We took the negatives and hand scanned them; shifting and distorting the film to create textures and overlays that would be used in future designs. Combining both physical and digital mediums, we created a branding to capture the feeling of looking through old photos of family and friends.

IN-HOUSE FILM TEXTURES:

Above are just a few of the textures we produced and implemented through the campaign. After we scan them we used the textures in future promotional material which are listed below.
