ICONOGRAPHY

The branding of Forward needed to be simplistic and engaging. We wanted something versatile that would look on LED screens, print material, and apparel. That’s where the arrow came in. We knew we could leverage the arrow but being intentional with the context of how it was used. Virgil Abloh, late creative director of Nike, Louis Vuitton, and OFF-WHITE, stated that the environment your design is presented in is just as important as the art itself. With this in mind, we drafted way we could utilizes the design for elevate the icon and the work.    

LIFE IN MOTION

To convey the idea of movement, we used path blurs in our images to reinforce the idea of Forward. Motion wanted to be present in every aspect of the design. Not only did we want to explicitly state moving forward, but subconsciously as well.
